Nova Scotia has ten universities: Acadia University, Atlantic Theological Seminary, Cape Breton University, Dalhousie University, Mount Saint Vincent University, NSCAD University, St. Francis Xavier University, St. Anne’s University, and King’s College University.
Nova Scotia Tourist Attractions
Nova Scotia is a center of excellence for the arts. The province has many art galleries and theaters with famous singers and songwriters, including Anne Murray, Hank Snow, Danny Doherty, Sarah McLachlan, Martina McBride, Gordie Sampson, and LeAnn Rimes.
Along with numerous historic sites and national parks, Nova Scotia has many museums which reflect its ethnic heritage. Halifax once had one of the shipbuilding facilities, which the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic beautifully displays. Fishing in the Bay of Fundy is also one of the main attractions of this province.
