Express Entry is a system for finding a job in Canada and immigrating foreign workers to this country, but it is only for those who are considered skilled and professional in their work.<\/p>\n

Getting to know different levels of Work in Canada<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

Before hiring immigrants or applying for a job in Canada, you should familiarize yourself with the different levels of work in this country, known as the “National Occupational Classification” or NOC. NOC specifies the skill level of various jobs in one of five categories 0, C, B, A, and D. The amount of required training, specialized training for the desired work, and the amount of work experience are the criteria for determining the level and class of that job. According to these criteria and with the knowledge of this classification system, it is easy to get an immigrant workforce or find a job in Canada.<\/p>\n

Which Job Level does Express Entry accept?<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

The Express Entry system recognizes only three of the five job levels for employment in Canada, which are listed below:<\/p>\n

Job Level 0: This level is for managers<\/p>\n

Job Level A: Level A is related to jobs that require a university education.<\/p>\n

Job Level B: Technical and vocational jobs that require training such as college or an apprenticeship.<\/p>\n

If your desired job is in categories C and D, you must apply for immigration to Canada by means other than Express Entry.<\/p>\n

Most Employers require a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

An LMIA or “Labor Market Impact Assessment” conducted by ESDC (Employment and Social Development Canada) is what you will need to prove the above. To receive this assessment, the employer must advertise the desired job; first, he sends the main ad to the Government of Canada Job Bank and then sends an advertisement to two other sources. After that, he can apply for LMIA. If ESDC agrees to hire a migrant workforce, a positive LMIA will be received.<\/p>\n

How can the employer help the Workforce to get Express Entry Points?<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

The higher the score of a person seeking employment in Canada, the more likely he will be accepted as an immigrant. However, even without the support of employers, applicants can enter Canada through Express Entry.<\/p>\n

If the desired labor force of the employer has not yet obtained the necessary conditions in the Express Entry and job search system in Canada, it should consider whether it can be placed in one of these three paths or not:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Canadian Experience Pathway<\/li>\n
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program<\/li>\n
  • Federal Professional Business Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Logging into the Express Entry System and finding a Job in Canada<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

    Eligible applicants who have to participate in one of these three routes can apply for Express Entry. The first step is to create a profile on the site related to this system. After that, the person should upload the required documents and provide all the requested information. Validity of evidence and age are among the things that determine the applicant’s score in this system.<\/p>\n

    A valid job offer can be helpful for approval and acceptance, but it is not required. Finding a job in Canada and having a job offer from a Canadian employer in one of the jobs of the first three groups (groups 0, A, and B) can bring 50 positive points for the applicant. In rare cases, if the person’s job code starts with 00, 200 positive points are considered for him. Note that a job offer means a full-time offer with 30 hours of work per week, and this offer must be valid and suitable for at least one year after receiving a permanent residence visa.<\/p>\n

    Receiving a Job Offer without LMIA<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

    There is a way for a job applicant in Canada to receive a job offer without a positive LMIA. If the person has a special work permit, a positive LMIA is not required to take a job offer; this means that an employer can hire a workforce with an unrestricted employment permit (for example, a post-graduation employment permit) without a previous LMIA. Then, in the future, he should apply for LMIA so that the applicant can raise his score through it, and this is a great way to get a job in Canada.<\/p>\n

    With this account, to hire an Express Entry candidate, the employer must act as follows:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • If needed, gets a positive LMIA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Provides the individual with a full-time, LMIA-eligible, Written Job Offer that is valid for one year after obtaining the residence visa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        Who does not need LMIA to work in Canada?<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

        You will not need an LMIA if you fall into one of the following groups:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • If the employer has hired his Workforce before but now wants to extend the Job Offer for another year, they can apply for a Canadian permanent Residence Visa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • If they have already worked for the employer for one year full-time or part-time equivalent and have a Valid Work Permit, there is no need to obtain LMIA. The employers must issue the employment permit through international agreements such as (Canada-USA-Mexico Agreement) CUSMA, or federal-provincial trade agreements and legally guarantee the LMIA exemption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            The last stages of Working in Canada and accepting Express Entry<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

            If you are looking for admission in the Express Entry system, the employer will ask you to register and update the employer’s name, address, start date, NOC code, and LMIA number in your profile. In most cases, you can continue to work in Canada until the result of your Express Entry application is determined because there will be no restrictions on finding a job in Canada during this time.<\/p>\n
