However, it is necessary to note that prospective students wishing to receive admission to education in Canada must first apply for a degree program at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).<\/p>\n

To be eligible for an academic program, most English-language schools may require students for whom English is not the first language to pass a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Upon completion of these courses, students can travel to Canada to participate in the second or third year of an institution’s educational programs.<\/p>\n

Financial Assistance<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

Those who need financial assistance to pay for their studies in Canada can contact their country of citizenship as soon as possible, as they may receive scholarships, low-interest loans, or other eligible benefits. In addition, the Office of Immigration-approved financial aid of the educational institution you wish to attend may be in a position to provide financial assistance to the student. Some institutions may also be able to make financing options available to students. If students intend to transfer the rest of their credits to another educational institution, they should contact the destination university or college; because each educational institution approved by the Immigration Office has its policy on transfer credits.<\/p>\n
